Marine Society and Sea Cadets (MSSC) is a leading maritime charity in lifelong learning and personal development and is the governing charity of the Sea Cadet Corps (SCC), a civilian voluntary youth organisation engaging some 15,000 young people over 400 Sea Cadet Units, throughout the UK.  The SCC offers a wide range of youth opportunities with the same enduring objective – to give young people the best possible head start in life through nautical adventure and fun.

MSSC are seeking an exceptional individual to join SCTC Raleigh as Training Centre Support Officer to support the delivery of cadet activity within HMS Raleigh. The role is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of logistic, facilities management and transportation to ensure successful cadet programs.  They are looking for an individual who preferably has a Military background, ideally in the Royal Navy or RNR. ​The post holder must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate with adults and young people in a both verbal and written form.  They must be able to work effectively within the network of departments across HMS Raleigh to help the centre offer the cadet experience. ​
